Ian has taught physics, computing & engineering in 6th Form colleges for over 20 years - periodically running electronics/coding projects in-house as well as within local primary & secondary schools. He recently completed a Ph.D in Computational Physics and is engaged in post-doc research part-time. Outside of the day job he develops educational projects in geophysics, computational physics and digital electronics. He is a firm believer in the merits of encouraging pre-university students to build their own equipment and undertake original research. Saul is an A-level student with keen interests in mathematics, physics and computing. Nathan is on a gap year before reading physics at Durham University.
