Design a Chip

This is a project to develop a course for upper school students using Field programmable Logic Gate Arrays. I trialled it successfully with one A-level student 23-24.

F.P.G.A.s have been the cutting edge of high speed data processing for over 30 years. They allow a logic design to enabled on the FPGA device. i.e. one may design and implement a high-speed custom digital circuit without the hassle of wiring up smaller logic chips or the massive expense of tooling up a production line. Of especial interest to those planning on studying electronic engineering.
